What a week...

This week was really fast catching news! SOPA/PIPA and Anonymous and all that...anyway. Good thing is Saturday night and I'm all alone at home just chilling! Not feeling really good about myself but there's always something that must be done when you're alone in silence. And by that I mean have a mental check up. Oh how I need that, for the next months are going to be like F1 by the end of the season!

I haven't had so much free time now like in the past to improve my skills as a designer (wich I have never been actually). Anyway, I bought a Cinema Led Display from Apple and decided that now I'll dedicate sometime to create wallpapers. First of all I'll need to learn a lot of things regarding design. So, let's get started.

Thank you for the faves of my dolls! 
They're amazing. What are their style called? Where do I buy them? Why haven't I come across any in regular collectibles stores? I want one! I have the two Sucker Punch dolls from Hot Toys and they are beautiful but these are a whole new level of awesome in their own way. 
They are called ball-joint-dolls or BJD for short. Most come from Korea, although some of the cheaper ones are now made in China (isn't everything?) and Japan also makes the brand Volks. There are many, many different companies out there. They come in different sizes from very tiny to about 70cm tall. They are made of resin and they are expensive. You can probably find secondary market dolls on Ebay. Very addictive!
Depending on the company that makes them, you can get several options in sculpts from realistic (my preference) to fantasy (elves, vampires, etc.), different skin tones.
